Herbal Medicine for Women

This is a herbal medicine course for women and it acknowledges the three stages of a woman’s life – Maiden, Mother and Crone.  We are all three aspects of womanhood at all times. Once a maiden, always a maiden. We all have the potential to be mothers and creatrices because of our wombs. Then we all become the Crone when we realise the wisdom of the Wise Elder is within.

It is a fascinating experience to be a woman and we are blessed to be born so. However, what should be a simple journey through life can be knocked off balance due to the monthly changes we experience.

As we travel through life we may need some herbal medicine to help with certain hormonal and reproductive system complaints.  This herbal medicine course will therefore focus on such issues as menstruation, skin, fertility, pregnancy, birth, breast feeding, menopause, and bone health as well as consider emotional imbalances at these transitory times.  We will also be applying certain herbs and plants to ceremony and rites of passage, when we celebrate our milestone moments of Maiden, Mother and Crone. This course therefore, is a very holistic herbal medicine course offering modalities for healing on physical, emotional, mental and spiritual levels.  We will work with healing plants and other modalities such as meditation and music, dance and exercise and recipes for natural body care will also be included. This herbal medicine course is for every human female and is intended to be empowering, educational as well as acknowledging the Divine Feminine within.

In 2026 I am adding assignments to make this course more interesting and yes, more challenging too because then it will be more memorable. There will also be a monthly Zoom Class to attend with extra information and the chance to ask questions and share experiences.
