There are eight festivals during the Celtic Wheel of the Year.
Each festival will include the crafting of your magical tools; tools such as Crane Bag, Dream Pillow, Slaghdán, Wand, Amulet and others. To recapture our heritage, ritual and ceremony will be created. Recapturing our heritage, Ritual and Ceremony will also be created. If you wish, you can then prepare for a Vision Quest at the end of one cycle around the Wheel.
With every step our Plant Allies will be with us; helping us, healing us, sharing wisdom and encouraging us to forge a deeper relationship with Mother Earth. As we journey with the plants to the Goddess in her various guises, we will undergo personal transformation and remember that everything is alive and that we are intricately and intimately connected to everything in this web of life.
Crafting and activities will include:
After one cycle of the Wheel a student can make a personal choice as to undertake an optional Vision Quest. The date for the Vision Quest will be agreed by the woman questing and myself. The Vision Quest can take place during the day or overnight and brings us into the Centre of the Wheel. In this place, all wisdom accrued, all Plant Allies and the Goddess are pulled together and the question is asked.
Each of the eight festivals (Samhain, Imbolc, Bealtaine, Lughnasadh, Winter and Summer Solstices, Spring and Autumn Equinoxes), will take place on the Saturday nearest to the festival date and require a donation of 100 per person. This includes an organic, vegetarian lunch and teas. Participants are encouraged to bring food to share so that we all nourish and support each other. If you prefer to follow the digital version of the course, each festival costs 35 which includes one to one tuition during each festival period.
